I am a British Single Mummy who worked in the travel industry for long time.  I now have a child who I bring up single handedly as her dad is a ..... (fill in your own expletive here) but my wanderlust has not left me.

So how to travel when your are SKINT?

Well we host a lot of couch surfers (www.couchsurfing.org) and so the world sort of comes to us and we go couch surfing ourselves when we find cheap flights and travel deals.

We also do a lot of bargain holidays when different newspapers print token collects.  You can also search facebook or sign up for email alerts about such offers and sometimes you don´t even have to buy the publications and collect the tokens.  Sometimes these holidays involve travelling overseas (to mainland Europe) and sometimes they involve travelling around the UK.

This website is my personal (sometimes over the top and sometimes gruesome) blog where I write about the different travel experiences that I have and the people I meet. 

Sometimes I include advice or travel tips for my readers and sometimes I just RANT... take it or leave it - it is MY blog and you are free to leave it at any time.
